For years, I struggled with feeling unfulfilled as I tried to figure out what I wanted to do. Despite pursuing various things, I found myself constantly wanting more and knowing I was created for more. It wasn't until I surrendered my life to God that the pieces began to fall into place.

Through this journey, God revealed a calling that ignited a passion in me to serve and uplift women. As I pursued this, I found myself struggling with where to begin, not feeling qualified and the fear of failing. Once I got out of my head and gave God a real yes, things started to shift.

In 2012, I founded "Changed Hearts: I AM Woman," a blog aimed at guiding women back to God and offering practical advice. This sparked a deep passion for helping women recognize their value and worth, while getting clear on their identity.

As I grew in my faith and became an ordained minister, the ministry evolved into Changed Hearts, where I led prayer calls, conferences, and Bible studies. I also authored two books: Changed Heart, sharing my testimony of how God transformed my heart, and Secret Struggles, a guide to overcoming hidden challenges.

In addition to this, I host A Change of Heart podcast, which empowers women to be whole, healed and authentic. I serve as a mentor, lead a young adult women's small group, and support individuals in pursuing their purpose. My mission is to continue guiding women toward their true potential with confidence and authenticity.

some fun facts

I married my favorite person, Lamar, in 2023. (FYI you may still see a few things, such as my books, under my maiden name, Walston).

Two of my favorite guilty pleasures are true crime podcasts and binge-watching The Office (up to Michael Scott leaving...IYKYK).

One of my go to meals is chicken nuggets with honey mustard. This is a safe space, don't judge!

I'm holding out hope on being a contestant on Supermarket Sweep and joining a flash mob, preferably to Thriller.

Last but not least, I have a deep passion for helping women to break free from their own limitations so that they can be authentically who they were always created to be.
